Ohtori Choutarou is a regular at Hyoutei Gakuen, he is a nice guy. He's extremely polite, which can be proven by the way he diligently refers to all his friends with very formal, he specifically calls people with the word "san," which is very respectful in japanese. Ohtori can be considered to be the most humble guy in the Hyotei Gakuen squad. And he always call Shishido with "senpai".

Ohtori is a talented tennis player. His super fast serve reaches a speed of over 200 km/hr, which is ridiculously fast for a junior high player. He has good reaction time, and can also return high speed serves. He is the type of guy who always tries his best in tennis, no matter what, and he works very hard to improve. He is extremely close with Shishido. He always learn and practice with Shishido and this is one of the reason why they are closed. However, he puts too much pressure on himself. When he is pairing with Eiji and face Oishi and Shishido, he can't even concentrate on his serves. He can't accept the fact that he is facing his partner, Shishido and lost to Oishi-Shishido pair at first.

Ohtori really respects his doubles partner, Shishido Ryoh and would do just about anything that he asks of him. When Shishido was drop from the Hyoutei regulars and trying to regain his spot, Ohtori begged their coach, Sakaki, to let Shishido become a regular again. In response, Sakaki asked if Ohtori would give up his spot for Shishido, and Ohtori said that he would. He often overthinks his service game, probably because he wants to make sure that he can win it. He also works very hard to perfect his serve with Shishido later. He doesn't want to drag Shishido down. In personal, I like his eyes very much. Just don't know why, I think that his eyes is totally different with others.
